*For private pay clients, I offer therapy using the Green Bottle method, a sliding scale designed to accommodate diverse financial means and levels of privilege. Clients are encouraged to self-assess their financial situation using the infographic below and select a fee that feels manageable and fair. No financial documentation is required, as I trust clients to choose the appropriate range. Please note that there are limited low-fee spots, which often fill quickly and may require clients to be waitlisted for availability.

Bottle Descriptions

Full Bottle ($200-$250)​

  • I comfortably meet my basic* needs.

  • I may have debt but can manage expenses.

  • I own property.

  • l own/ lease a car

  • I am employed or don’t need to work.

  • I have regular access to healthcare.

  • I have savings and investments.

  • I have an expendable** income.

  • I can regularly buy new items.

  • I can afford leisure travel and time off.

 

Mostly Full Bottle ($150-$200)

  • I can meet my basic* needs.

  • I may have some debt but can meet basic needs.

  • I own or rent my home.

  • l own or lease a car.

  • I am employed or self- employed.

  • I have healthcare access.

  • I may have savings and some expendable** income.

  • I can take time off or vacation without financial burden.

Half Full Bottle ($100-$150)

  • I regularly meet my basic* needs, though I often stress about achieving them.

  • I have some debt, but it does not prevent me from meeting my basic needs.

  • l own or lease a car

  • I am employed or underemployed

  • I have limited access to healthcare.

  • I might have limited savings, but some expendable** income.

  • I need to actively save in order to take a vacation.

Least Full Bottle ($50-$100)

  • I struggle to meet my basic* needs and sometimes do not.

  • I have debt.

  • I rent or have unstable housing

  • I lack reliable access to a car or cannot always afford gas.

  • I am unemployed or under employed

  • I qualify for government assistance programs

  • I have little to no savings or expendable** income

  • I cannot take vacations or time off without financial strain.​

*BASIC NEEDS include food, housing, and transportation. **EXPENDABLE INCOME might mean you are able to buy coffee or tea at a shop, go to the movies or a concert, buy new clothes, books, and similar items each month, etc.
